MIX and APPLY :
A trial batch is recommended to optimize plaster performance. For small projects, start with one 88-lb bag of EISENWALL Cement, 18 to 24 shovels (size #2) of plaster sand, and 4 to 6-gal. of potable water. Water demand will vary depending on the moisture in the sand. Bring the mix to desired working consistency. Mix for about 5 minutes.
Mix, apply and finish the plaster quickly. The working time of plaster made with EISENWALL Cement is approximately 60 minutes at 70°F (21°C). It is important that the plastering operation be organized within this time limitation.
The working time may be extended by using cold materials or by adding Rapid Set Set Control to the mixing water. Concrete additives are available from the Concrete Pharmacy. For more details, contact CTS.
CURING :
Begin water curing immediately after final finishing. Mist spray curing for at least 90 minutes is required until material cannot be easily scratched with a nail. After water curing is complete the color coat may be applied.
YIELD and PACKAGING:
EISENWALL Cement is available through distributors in 88-lb polyethylene lined bags. Each 88-lb bag yields about 5 sq. yd. at 3/4-in thickness.
