Metacaulk Intumescent Sleeves offer easy installation without the need for modifications, steel bolts, or fasteners. They can be fastened with fiberglass tape, pop rivets, or hose clamps around the pipe. These sleeves are economical and save on labor costs, as no material measurement is required. There is no need to firestop both sides of a wall penetration, as they can be installed from the top or underside for floor applications, eliminating the need for collars or wrap strips. Metacaulk Intumescent Sleeves can be retrofitted, easily removed, and replaced, making them ideal for large PVC or engineered plastic pipes going through concrete fluted decks. They are also perfect for applications where pipes are installed at an angle or around a coupling located in floor and wall openings.
