Single-component device with precured dry intumescent, for casting into concrete, that provides through-floor penetration firestop protection for plastic pipes, metal pipes, insulated pipes and all types of cabling. The Metacaulk Cast-In-Place Device (CID) expands when exposed to heat, forming a refractory char that tightly seals to prevent the spread of flames, smoke, and toxic fumes. This device reduces labor time by eliminating the need for drilling concrete. It comes with accessories such as snap-on height extensions, corrugated floor deck adaptors, and installation snap-on cover caps. Additionally, it is compatible with FBC Systems.
